Shelly Tan

Senior Registered Acupuncturist / Director

Shelly is an experienced Registered Acupuncturist with over 10 years of clinical practice in New Zealand and Australia. She is NZQA qualified and a member of NZCMAS.

Shelly obtained her Bachelor of Medicine degree specialising in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine after completing an intensive five-year medical programme at a leading university in China. She later undertook two years of advanced training in Dry Needling and Physical Therapy in Sydney, strengthening her expertise in pain management and musculoskeletal treatment.

Prior to practising in New Zealand and Australia, Shelly worked as a doctor in a major hospital in China, where she treated a large number of patients daily. This extensive clinical background allows her to develop personalised treatment plans tailored to each patient’s individual needs. She now focuses on the internal regulation of complex conditions, with particular clinical expertise in women’s hormonal health and fertility preparation.

Lily Qiu

Senior Registered Acupuncturist / ACC Provider

Lily began her healthcare career as a nurse in a comprehensive hospital in China, where she gained valuable clinical experience and developed a strong foundation in patient care. She later completed a four-year programme specialising in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine at Chinese Medicine College, and is now a Senior Registered Acupuncturist and ACC provider in New Zealand.

With a background in both nursing and Traditional Chinese Medicine, Lily takes a holistic approach to healthcare, focusing on identifying the root cause of health concerns while supporting the body’s natural healing process. She is passionate about helping patients improve their health and wellbeing through personalised and compassionate care.

Bob Li

Senior Registered Acupuncturist / ACC provider

Bob graduated from the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine at Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2007. From 2007 to 2018, he worked in the Integrative Medicine Rehabilitation Department of Putuo Hospital, affiliated with Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

With 20 years of experience in acupuncture, tuina (Chinese therapeutic massage), and rehabilitation therapy, Bob specializes in treating various bone and joint disorders—such as cervical spondylosis, frozen shoulder, and lumbar disc herniation—through a combination of acupuncture and tuina. He also has extensive expertise in managing internal medicine conditions, including post-stroke sequelae, facial paralysis (Bell’s palsy), insomnia, chronic diarrhea, constipation, and male sexual dysfunction.

Grace Gao

ACC&CMC Registered Acupuncturist

A passionate and results-driven Registered Acupuncturist with a solid academic foundation in Traditional Chinese Medicine and extensive clinical experience. Graduated from the New Zealand College of Chinese Medicine and currently pursuing a Master’s degree in the same field, dedicated to integrating deep academic knowledge with clinical practice. Holds ACC and CMC registrations in New Zealand, with expertise in utilizing acupuncture, Tui Na, and herbal medicine, particularly skilled in effectively diagnosing and treating a wide range of musculoskeletal pain conditions and internal medical disorders. Committed to providing the highest standard of evidence-based care to improve patient health outcomes and quality of life.

Muen

ACC & CMC Registered Acupuncturist

Muen began studying Umbilical Acupuncture and the I Ching with Master Qi Yong in 2019 following a personal health journey. From 2021 to 2026, Muen studied Traditional Chinese Medicine College, completing both undergraduate and postgraduate training while also learning Dong’s Extraordinary Acupuncture. Muen is also a follower of Master Ni’s teachings.

Muen has extensive experience treating ACC-related injuries, pain relief, and musculoskeletal conditions. Known for a warm and caring approach, Muen focuses on personalised acupuncture treatments, helping patients recover, restore balance, and improve overall wellbeing.

Li Guo

ACC & CMC Registered Acupuncturist

Li Guo is a dedicated and compassionate Registered Acupuncturist with a strong academic background in Traditional Chinese Medicine and extensive clinical experience. Li holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from the Chinese Medicine College and has gained broad hands-on experience through treating a wide range of patients in clinical practice.

Registered with both ACC and the Chinese Medicine Council (CMC) of New Zealand, Li specialises in the treatment of sports injuries, musculoskeletal conditions, and internal medicine disorders. Known for a calm and attentive manner, Li is committed to providing patient-centred care and high-quality holistic treatment to support long-term health and wellbeing.

Justin Scott

Senior Physiotherapist – Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy)

Justin is an experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapist with over 10 years of clinical experience, specializing in shoulder, neck, and spinal conditions. He has worked across medical centers, schools, multidisciplinary clinics, and with sports teams, developing a broad and adaptable approach to care.

With a strong focus on patient-centered treatment, he values empathy, personalized care, and active patient involvement. His approach emphasizes identifying root causes rather than short-term pain relief, aiming to deliver long-term, sustainable outcomes that enhance physical function, confidence, and overall wellbeing. Justin is highly regarded and well-liked by his patients.

Amy is passionate about helping people restore and improve their health and fitness. She completed her Bachelor of Health Science in Physiotherapy, at the Auckland University of Technology in 201 3. While working for and managing a multi-disciplinary Physiotherapy practice. She completed her training in STOTT Pilates in 2015. Amy’s ongoing professional education is focused on her passion for preventing re-injury and providing specific pain management strategies through clinical Pilate! Mat Work. Amy is passionate about supporting and inspiring her clients to restore function and achieve their health and fitness goals!

Aileen Abella

Aileen is a passionate physiotherapist with a Bachelor’s degree from the Philippines. With over 5 years of full-time experience in Neurological, Musculoskeletal, and Geriatric rehabilitation, Aileen is committed to assisting individuals of every age in regaining their mobility and functionality. She has seen some remarkable results in helping her clients achieve their functional goals.

Aileen specializes in Neurorehabilitation and is known for her expertise in treating conditions such as Stroke, Parkinson’s disease, Dementia, Spinal cord injury, and Traumatic head injury. Aileen’s skills and dedication to improving the lives of her clients makes an invaluable impact.
